Just a quick check in.

Having some challenges but I've still got my head above water. I have a new partner, few months now, they're great for me (also not much of a drinker which helps!) and I'm so happy.

It's a very real reminder of what can come undone with alcohol driving the ship. I'm already beating myself up (daily it seems) for a few things I would have handled better if alcohol wasn't in the mix, nothing drastic but still not needed at all and made things harder. Just wanted to say this 'aloud'.

I meant beating myself up for past times I slipped and drunk, general day to day conversions that would have been more vibrant and in the moment had I not been drinking

Sober and feeling good

Not to obsessive about it but I've really picked up exercise and healthy eating again lately. I'm lucky, to have found someone to share quality living with too... Not out of the woods but for a while I didn't see an end, but knew I wouldn't stop trying, ever.
