Day 10
Hi all,
Here on Day 10 of sobriety. Things are going pretty well. I definitely had a few minutes today were a drink sounded good, but I was able to shake it off. The forums continue to be a beacon of light for me and help whenever I am struggling. I have noticed that I have a very addictive personality. Now that I am starting to NOT drink when I typically would, it's almost as if this is my new addiction. An addiction to being sober?! Anyway, its a nice feeling 90% of the time. It's definitely tough sometimes more than others, but I just keep reminding myself how much better I feel, my attitude is better, my social skills are improving, and I am able to open up more to my wife.

Aaahh... I love it... An addiction to being Sober!?
What a great concept.
I too am finding that when I think about drinking, I think about having to edit my "last drink" date on here and go back to day 1.
