my friend died
my friend died
As the title gives away, my friend died.he killed himself. Young, talented and beautiful.my response of course was to hit the bottle hard.even after the funeral today I feel numb. Because of alcohol I guess? I want to cry and sob. There's nothing.
I'm so sorry for your loss AN.
Any death is tragic but young peoples death often seems worse somehow.
Don't compound this tragedy with another one tho.
I know it hurts to feel, but it hurts worse in the long ruin to try and live numb.
I'm sure your friend loved you and I'm sure he'd want what's best for you.
Drinking your life away id no way for anyone to live.
Honour his memory AN.

You can do this

I'm so very sorry
it's best as you know to face up to these things sober
when my first wife was killed I jumped into the bottle and drugs
as I look back today
I see where it only made matters worse
I didn't know how to deal with my grief (of most importance)

So sorry for your loss. When a loved one dies it makes us want to numb the pain we are feeling with alcohol. Eventually though you will need to deal with those feelings of loss. Your friend sounds like a really great person. Remember all those good qualities.
I am so sorry. Wow I also always like to think that when people pass it is because they are just to good to be down here and they are needed up there to help us.
