Not really babes - son's bday and not seen him for 5 years thanks to my ex. The kids and I spent 9 years running from one womens aid refuge to another due to his abuse of me and the kids. 5 years ago he tracked us down and turned them against me! I am Skye the invincible though - I dish out advice and hurt inside as I'm a private person. It's all good though - got guitar out and Eric Clapton on you tube - i'll survive and thanks SO much for caring Xx

I am sorry. I know that in all my heart I have never been more honest or sincere, but that does not speak for others. I was so lost, but I though I found SR to help me see that I have the strength within myself. I found that you did help me with your words in posts, at least glad you offered that to me.
I hope you the best.

Alright. I have to say something that I hope will be helpful. I don't know you but I did read a couple pretty obvious under-the-influence posts by you recently. And one in particular really has been on my mind all day. Because I found it very disturbing. If people aren't responding to you today it's probably just that seeing the insanity of someone who is obvious respected on here - the insanity of your disease - not that you are insane is SCARY. Just give yourself a break and your friends on here one as well. Because I saw a lot of support on that thread. A lot. Don't throw out the baby with the bath water. You need the support and others need yours.
It's because we can relate that it's so scary and disturbing. And I can also relate to the major over reacting at times.
This is me when I screw up Maybe you can relate?

People here care a lot Skye. I know you rescue animals like me. You know when they are hurting how they tend to lash out even when someone is trying to help? Being here has been invaluable to my sobriety because of members like you. I hope you can take a breather and come back when you feel less upset.
I'm sorry for whatever problems you've having at the moment Skye.
I think the first step needs to be to get sober again, get whatever else is going on into perspective and and then work out a definite recovery plan and stick to it?.

This says they do.
Fly straight , then come back so we can help you.

Hey Skye, I hope you find solace in what is a painful time. Thank you for being here and sharing your tales of the kitten. I remember your posts when you first posted about the kitten in and the thread made me smile on, what was here, an otherwise dreary day. That is a gift.
