If Dr. Jekyll is the scientist who took a potion in his lab and turned into Mr. Hyde, the bad guy (AV), are there initials for the good guy?

I hear the voices of so, SO many of you on here, when I am collapsing a little bit in my mind, thinking I could manage just a little bit of vino. The stubborn part of me doesn't want to give up "the" date I quit.

I hear your voices/posts...least, Dee, Kate, etc...& everyone else new and old, what is the good voice of all the SR people? Maybe this already exists...

RV? (Rational Voice? Sounds like a camper)

AV came from Rational Recovery so maybe someone versed in the ways of RR can answer that one.

PP, in your case. RAA in mine.

It's you, you're the good guy. That's actually fundamental to understanding the AV in AVRT. The point isn't to have an angel on one shoulder and a devil on the other, battling it out. The point is to separate you from the desire to drink. Any thought or image that leaves open the possibility of drinking is AV.

Everything else is you, white hat and all.
