Neck pain?

Today is day 2 for me, I'm feeling good and bad. I am happy I chose to say I will never drink again. I am sad because I feel like I really failed in letting my drinking get so out of hand.

My body aches from drinking still. But the worst pain is in my neck. The back of my neck, from the base of my skull to the top of my shoulders, is so sore and stiff. Anyone else ever experienced this after heavy drinking? I've experienced it a couple times before. Any thoughts as to how neck pain relates to drinking?

Thanks guys. The only thing I could find online about neck pain and drinking was lymphoma, but I really don't think that's it. Maybe severe dehydration?

Haha yes, Dr. Google is the worst. No matter what symptoms you have, google can find a disease that matches that is going to kill you. Lol

I had this and it was simply that I had been lying at an odd angle. Better to get checked if it's worrying you
