Why Is Sobriety Painful??
My thoughts, for what they're worth.
It's painful (at first), because you're getting stronger.
It's the same as just sitting there and not exercising. So the day comes where you get up off your rear end, and start to exercise, to find out how painful it is. So you persevere, to find out in time, the pain has lessoned, and how much stronger you've gotten.
Both get easier as time goes by.
You just gotta put some effort into it
