Pocket Affirmations
Someone shared some good affirmations with me today and I thought I'd pass them on:
"I trust that as this door closes another opens."
"I relinquish the past in favor of a better future."
They're like mini-prayers.
Inviting others to contribute if they have some good ones....

Great thread EnglishGarden. Would love to hear what affirmations people are using to grow.
This is one I've used in my recovery for a long time. Hadn't been using it for awhile as I let situation swallow me but it came back as I started codependency recovery.
I look in the mirror…..
"I love and approve of myself. I am whole and perfect as I was created. I am a magnet for divine abundance!"
Usually end up smiling!

Great thread EnglishGarden, and a great way to begin my day...
I love LMN's "It's Unfortunate".
When things go wrong as they often do and I get frustrated I repeat this to myself..."If this is the worst thing that happens to me today, thank you God."
One I repeat often "I am a blessed child of God, worthy of love and respect."
Also "Today I will be the best person I can and know that is enough."
And a new one I will be adding, it's something my grandfather used to say and I only remembered it last night when visiting family...my grandfather, who lived with us the last 5 years of his life, rose with the sun each day, bathed, groomed, dressed in clean clothes, no matter what his plan for the day was.
He said "Awaken early and dress like you have something important to do."
