Hello

I am coming up 7 months sober soon and life is feeling a lot better - physical, mental, work, social, financial, spiritual. I have been in AA during this period and found it really beneficial especially doing service - I was promoted to tea boy before xmas.
I am just a bit nervous at the moment because people in AA have been asking me to do a main share. I know what to say if i do a main share but just feel really nervous if I break down and make a fool of myself.
Anyone got any tips about how they prepared for a main share? Please help.

ive prayed before every one.
then shared what I used to be like,what happened, and what im like now. I don't go into the drunkalogue crap. they already know about that. I stick with the thinkin thing.

Hi im in 5 months , also going through a marriage breakdown ,im terrified to do a chair . I know ill cry im also worried in case its pride that I wont do a good honest chair

Tomsteve has it right. Pray for guidance before you share. Just pretend you're talking to your best friend. You'll be alright.
