Day three again, feeling OK
Day three again, feeling OK
Well, back on my feet at day three. I think the therapy session helped.
I also found out there's a place in Baltimore that has a flotation/isolation tank, and it's pretty reasonable, about $33 for a one hour float. I did this a few times at a place in DC that is no longer there, and it was better than a massage. I never felt so relaxed. I have a lot of physical pain/tight muscles, from my jaw/face to my neck, and all over. This really helped, but it's been so hard to find places that have it. So I called, and they said they were out of town, and returning on Feb 9. I sure hope it's still open, it looked nice based on their web-site. And I just can't say how much relief this brought to me.
Also, my therapist teaches movement therapy and gentle yoga, so we are going to do a bit of that, as well, next session. I need to find ways to relieve my physical and emotional tension because these tend to burst open like a dam, and when they do, I'm at a high risk of relapse.
Does anyone else have a lot of pain related issues that fuel their urges????
I'm hoping to find better ways to cope with mine.
