Hi everyone ... I am a stay at home mother of four and am struggling with alcohol addiction. I have maintained two periods of sobriety but began drinking again a few months ago and am in bad shape. I know that I damaging my children because of my drinking and I need all the support I can get on all fronts. I will be attending AA meetings and will get a sponsor soon as we have recently moved to a different state. I know people who do meetings on line as well and I think that will help me. I am VERY scared that my alcoholism will destroy my body and my family. Any support I can receive would be greatly appreciated

Welcome sissy444. You are welcome here and will find lots of support. You can see the struggles and glories that we all go through to beat addiction. Glad you joined. There is many support forums as well as chat rooms that you can take part in for more support.

We are in a similar boat, I just joined and am considering Feb 4 2014 as my day #1.
