This time last week I was drunk by 2pm. I'm self employed and work from home, so it's easy to do. I called someone and was an idiot on the phone, talking nonsense about work and I'm so embarrassed. I was passed out by 7pm. The next morning, I called AA. I had a terrible hangover and felt like such a loser.

Fast forward a week.....my favourite thing about being sober is waking up in the morning. NO HANGOVERS! It's amazing how much more productive I am in my company when I'm not either drinking all day, or nursing a hangover.

This morning I joined the gym and did 30 minutes of cardio. Day is day one of healthy eating.

When I met my husband I was 130lbs. Today I am 203 lbs....mainly because of the booze. I can't wait to be fit and healthy and happy!

For all of you on day one today....welcome. I was you a week ago. I was searching for help, for salvation and for answers. I got a bit of everything and I'm totally on the right track!
