Welcome to SR Shi!
Happy you're here. @ least you realized quickly & you are seekin help on here. Do you have a recovery group maybe aa near you or sponsor? Saying you will never drink again is a tall order so wake up each day & say just for today will not drink.
Best wishes

saying no is something I had to learn- I thought it was really big deal at the time- As I got more advanced into my sobriety and urges/cravings became a thing of the past- it became a whole lot easier. I need to state however that over time I have learned to not give a &&&& about what anybody else thinks about me not drinking- anything they think is their issue not mine
Hi shi, most of us have to stay away from tempting social occasions for some time as relapse is all too easy in the first weeks/months.
Can you tell us why you quit in the first place? Are those reasons still valid?

I stayed home for about the first 3 months of my sobriety , even being careful when i went to the store to try and avoid times when i felt weak in my resolve .
Doing a week is great , keep on with it, persistent , sometimes like oil tankers out at sea it takes time to turn the ship around and head in a new direction .
