Now that I quit drinking, another addiction I have has been pressing on my mind. Keeping me up while I should be asleep. It's the only other addiction I have.

Problem is, I don't know if I can mention it here or where to post about it. It's not something terrible, just odd and inconvenient.

So these concerns keep me up (pun intended, and a hint). But I don't know if this is the place I can talk about this is. And it really isn't cool. It really is a problem. But I feel I will be judged about it.

I'm looking for the place to talk about it. But will I look weird for mentioning anything other than substance addiction on here?

I haven't found SR to be a judgmental place at all. Many of us have other addictions.

Wow, the acceptance is touching. Thank you.

Those are my two addictions. Alcohol, which I've quit and am looking forward to day one tomorrow. And sex. It's an addiction for me. Your words encourage me @2bhappier. It's pretty difficult to not imagine being judged by the opposite sex (given that I'm straight) about this. Thank you.

I know a lot of ways to get over the alcohol addiction. But the sex one, I have no clue.

Ah well, I'll sleep on it. I can now relax, having said it. And know I won't be judged. I guess there are solutions for that as well.

Now... finally, I think I can sleep. Talk to you tomorrow!
