Well i'm on day 11 and going strong I am trying to get used to being sober I have more drive now kinda the way i used to feel.

Hi Bllit, keep it up and good job! I'm on day 11 as well. I feel great and luckily, I'm finding I don't get many temptations to drink for the immediate present. I'm enjoying feeling so good and don't want to muck it up. I do get a lot of mental anguish over the thought of not drinking in the future. I don't mean tomorrow, or even next week. But for vacations, concerts, sporting events, parties that aren't even on the calendar yet.. If you follow AVRT at all, that's "the beast". He's the one I have to keep quieting down. But so far, all good!

I know what you mean about not having a drink in the future. i just think of the reasons i stopped and how good i feel i keep a mental reminder in my head of what i was like when drinking. We can do it!
