Hi
I am 43 years old and someone who has had issues with alcohol for 30 years. Due to a current health scare I have finally taken the decision to give up drinking, I have been sober for 14 days now. I have had intentions to give up for around 7 years, read stuff and even convinced others to quit while never convincing myself.

Welcome Will1981! I am 48 and live in the States in a really rural mountain area where it snows constantly. All that aside, I am relatively new here and it has been a fabulous place for me. I hope it is for you too.
