Rollercoaster day, in a good way. Slept only about 4 hours last night, partly due to some expected insomnia but also because I started drilling thru my unread book library. You know, all those books I bought when I was drunk because hey, I love to read. Of course, I was too busy getting blackout drunk most nights to get to the reading part...

Woke up starving and a little cranky. Driving to work instead of picking up my morning drive time tall boy, I stopped at McDonalds for a biscuit and large coffee. Man, that hit the spot! And my first gratitude of the day...greasy, fast food breakfast. It put me right.

Work was productive and seemed to fly. Good! Left early (good to be the boss) and went to have one of my favorite sushi joints, where the owner is a good friend. Eschewed my normal large Ichiban and multiples thereof, and decided on a strong Thai Iced Tea. Delicious. I felt no trepidation, no voice, no craving, just a desire to enjoy living life in this moment, right now.



Honestly, I feel pretty good right now. I will not worry about tomorrow anymore. I will live right now.
