Made it through day 7- ONE WEEK!!!
This is amazing. Yesterday was so hard. Today was better. I think this is going to really work out for me. For anyone new here today, I was a heavy (14-18 beer/day or 3 bottles wine/day) daily drinker. This started 20 years ago when I was 18. My sobriety record was 2 days. I just got through day 7!!!! This is a true miracle. I just want anyone here who has less days of sobriety than me to know that you can do this. My entire life revolved around booze every second of the day and here I am as proof that you can get beyond the first few days (they aren't fun). I know I have a LONG road ahead of me, but I think I'm off to a really good start!! Thank you for all of your support. I'm not even close to going this alone yet.

Right on Jayelle! Congrats on 7 days.
I was obsessed by alcohol for18 years, couldn't imagine life without it. Yet here I stand, sober for over 14 months doing my best to take things one day at a time. The obsession is breakable.

Hi Jayelle- Today is my day 7 to and am feeling really happy that I managed to make it through the weekend safely! Well done you!
