7 days without a drink
Its been just over a week now since my last drink. It feel
s like an eternity to me, and its as if time has started to slow down in a good way. Im sleeping better now and feel like I can actually contemplate getting things done and sorting my problems out. I hope so anyway. Things can only improve if I continue abstaining. The hardest part is always starting and getting into a new routine. Time to get my life back. We can all do it if we want it bad enough.
Thanks guys.

You're on the right path MM - I know it seems like forever, and it's nail-biting in the early goings. But once folks start getting some time under their belt, many of us don't think about drinking alcohol at all. And you're right, it takes some time to there. But it will happen. Stay the course, keep up the hard work. This first month is the bread & butter of recovery.
