Relapse

Hi, I'm new to this not done anything like it before but I think it is an excellent idea.

I've been struggling with addiction for about 4 years now, I have been trying to stay clean for half that time but frequently relapsed for various reasons it has dominated my life and made day to day life very tough, I am now trying to reach out to people in the same situation as me to share their experiences and any advise they might have on staying clean.

I was a chronic relapser. For years. It was bad, so I know where you're coming from.
It took me years to finally quit, so you're doing great realizing you have a problem and want to deal with it.
Have you thought of a recovery program? They work for many.
You'll find lots of support here, and welcome. Post as much as you need. We're here for you.

Welcome to a site that can be very valuable in the process of sobriety. For myself and millions of others face to face meetings like AA are also very helpful when the ideas are applied. The bottom line is not to pick up the first drink.

BE WELL
