Bad Day! I am just over it.....
It sounds like you're really depressed. You may not easily see the point of life, but I guarantee you it's better sober. Fewer problems sober. Better health sober. Feel better sober.
Please stay sober. You're worth it.

Sounds like you have the January Glums Charliee The "What's the point?" gives it away.
I read your posts and you're such an inspiration. You've been sober for almost a year, do you recognize what an amazing accomplishment that is? YOU did that! Not many people can say that, they never get there.
What can ya do there girlie girl to unleash that person in there that's sick of sittin around doing nothing?

No, they were my friends before I started drinking and F ing up my life. I was honest with them and now they are gone. So Whatever! I don't care anymore, I don't want to try anymore, I can't be myself anymore, so that's it. I'm tired and done.... and this is all just a stupid waste of time

I'm sorry you feel that way Charliee.
I used to have some pretty black and white thinking - I used to catastrophise everything and be really down on myself - counselling helped me...I dunno if you've thought of it as an option?

You know, a year sober is an amazing accomplishment. I'm saddened to hear you feel as you do, and I want to say I've often enough felt like what is the point too in my sober life, and yeah it can often be difficult to work things out, but its always the right way to go, no matter how rotten things may seem to be.
I do my best to see challenges as opportunities to be all that I can be in my life. I make my choices with a purpose to be open to additional changes and adaptions are likely required of me to be successful in meeting my responsibilities in my sober lifestyle.
When life gives us lemons, its always a good move to make some lemonade.
Take it easy, Charliee. Sobriety is an amazing advantage to enjoying our lives, and I'm happy for you that you already have a year in on your sober journey!
