Momentary peace & divine intervention

I found some meetings and have been attending as much as possible. Things went from bad to worse. My husband actually tried to commit suicide and stopped breathing. I've been praying so much. I believe God guided me to find him and put the right people in the right place to help. My husband has been Baker Acted and is now committed to a mental health facility where he will finally get some help. Unfortunately he has some mental health issues as well. The drugs trigger those issues. Anyway, I am thankful for the prayers and support from everyone here. I feel some peace for the moment because I don't have to worry about him for the time being. This is the first day I've felt any kind of peace in months. Thank God and all of you!

My prayers are going up for your family tonight. He was so very lucky you found him in time. Be kind to yourself as that had to be a horrific thing to experience.

I'm glad that you found him and that everything did work out the way it has. Also so glad you have found some support to get your through these difficult times. I hope you can finally get some rest and focus on continuing to get help for yourself while he is getting the help he needs. I remember so well how good it felt to get a solid night's sleep and to not feel totally on edge when my daughter first went to treatment. Knowing she was safe really did let me work more on me. You are both in my thoughts and prayers
