2 weeks today!!!
Well it has been 2 weeks today for me. It seems like so much longer. I am so grateful to be clean today and for the past 2 weeks. I am still in a bit of a fog, and it has not been easy, but I know it gets easier as time passes. I just want to thank you all for the help and advice you have given me. You're all great. This time, I am working it!!!!!! Love, Becky

Today is 15 days for me and I can`t believe it! Does`nt it feel great. This is the longest for me and I am very proud of myself! Keep it up==I hear it only gets better!!!

Congrats to you BOTH!!!! 2 weeks, and 15 days! I know how big that is and it is great to feel the hope coming out of you guys!
...And it DOES only get better. Even when the painful things in life come - which they inevitably do - the blessing of being PRESENT to face them rather than (for me) in the old days when I ignored them and just kept using hoping they would go away (never did, did they?!) that blessing is just so amazing.
We - with support and the humility that allows us to ask for (and accept!) help of others JUST LIKE US - are able to step out of isolation, degradation, shame, embarrassment, fear, anger, just enough to see that we can experience joy, community, accomplishment, love... sooooooo much! It makes me so happy when I hear others just like me getting one day and then another day, and then another... until suddenly we look back and it becomes 2 weeks, or 15 days... you guys DO rock, just like dot said! Thanks for sharing your JOY. We will all still be here for you - joy or pain - either way... it can always be done.
