Happy New Year friends.
Sorry I have been absent. I relapsed over the holidays. It wasn't worth it. I had a beautiful Christmas with my family but alone back in my home I began drinking again. I am frustrated and sad and tired of this battle.
Today was day 1 again.

Don't give up you will make it. Just learn from the slip, take it as experience.

If being alone at home was your trigger, make a plan for next time. Someone recommended to me the HALT technique, when yiu feel like drinking you are either hungry, angry, lonely or tired. Works wonders for me

I am dreadful for isolating myself. I live in a part of the city where there are loads of meetings but shame has been stopping me going back.

Nope. At the moment I am feeling pretty stumped. I know I need to make big changes.
