Hello!
Alright there? My Names Adam and based on the last 6 years of my life i'd be referred to as an addict (i think i'm just a human, but if one was to apply a label within this context... that there'd be the one!)
I stopped drinking and taking drugs a period of time ago, a short one but tbh i don't want to be counting days, i just want to be noticing progress. I've taken lots of drugs, completed a subutex detox after falling in with the opiate family, substituted crack for weed and mephedrone for another... did the whole drinking malarkey and went what i'd like to think of as a 'wild adventure'.
Really it was a repetitive cycle of the same old same old with the end result of not really having any friends, nor money, nor self respect with which to exist with. I then had an awkward moment where my heart stopped and the universe told me that it was do or die... (well do without or die) and for the benefit of my own ego and the lives of those left to care i have.
I'm here for the good times, the bad times and the future.
