Day 39 - Starting Better
Hey all - To those that responded yesterday my thanks. Was an anxiety filled day. Its a wonder what a good nights sleep will do for you. Up this morning, everything checking out normal. When I honestly look at how I feel I realize that I feel better than I have for a long time. Cant change yesterday, but can work at controlling today. I do have an exam scheduled with doctor for full blood and exam. Was postponed by doctor (scheduling issue) but it is on the calendar and I will be going. Actually have been going to Doc regularly to monitor vitals every quarter (high cholesterol, triglycerides, etc) , with major difference being this time no alcohol, which should help with those cholesterol and triglyceride issues. Taking today step by step and even with some anxiety I realize I am better off than I would have been if 39 days ago I had not decided to stop.

Morning, from a former upstater. Do you remember Marlo Thomas as That Girl? The theme song was "you're gonna make it after all". That's my thought for you on your day 39. Have a great Sunday.
