advice on sponsor

hello, I'm new to recovery and am wondering.... what is the roll of a sponsor supposed to be?

Hi and welcome. A sponsor is like an advisor who can explain questions you may have. As time goes on a good sponsor can guide you in doing the steps. Most sponsors I had became long term friends.

I call my sponsor my yoda. She guides me through the steps and through life's issues while maintaining my sobriety.
