does anyone know?
This is completely unfounded, with no medical backing BUT..... I'm going to say that it's because it's when your metabolism is at it's highest other then exercising. You actually born a tremendous amount of calories just sleeping.
That is when toxins leave our bodies more rapidly. When we are prone, the water in our bodies kinda evens out and the kidneys get to do their job more easily. I deduced this after reading an article on how to drink water at night to reduce heart attacks. NOT medical advice, just something to talk with one's doctor about.

Thanks everyone. I'm still rolling along on the wagon it was just one of those questions that has always had me wondering..well imperfect I'm just gonna have to start sleeping longer I need to burn lots of calories!!! Lol
Thanks krs1 for bringing up this question, I was wondering the same thing because tomorrow is Day 7 for me & still having drenching night sweats! I have noticed because last night I did not sleep well & barely broke a sweat, but when I sleep very deep with dreams that is when I wake up soaking wet. I am not sure I understand the above reasons, so maybe more people will comment. Thanks again.

That's the same that happened to me missy when I was in a deep sleep having dreams from the twilight zone I would wake up just soaked...and I think it's just crazy that they only happen then I don't get then during the day of I napped. Might be like the tootsie pop saying "And the world may never know"
