I am through the shakes and I am ready to start being a human again.

Yep, I know I am an alcoholic but I want to do normal things again.

I will go to meetings but dammit I just can't live like a shaky mole in a hole who is to afraid to go out because he might get drunk.

There are a million things I need to do before I die and being a drunk is not one of them.

Thanks to everyone for letting me read your stories.

Tomorrow, I am going to teach my little female Corgi how to play frisbee golf. She deserves that.

I am sorry if I didn't wallow in my problem as many do. That is not an insult I just want to go on....
