Peace and Joy
Enjoyed a lovely, sober, Christmas Eve and Christmas with close family. Made homemade pizza last night, opened thoughtful and sweet presents this morning, had our traditional poppy seed coffee cake for breakfast, then took a long nap and a long walk in preparation for a delicious roast with mashed potatoes, peas, Yorkshire pudding and gravy. This is the first time in a long time I have been sober for 24 hours, and I am at peace...
