So I host Christmas dinner every year,and normally people would bring a bottle of wine to me as a hostess gift (Hell I made sure if that....would tell them I was all set for food when they would politely ask what they could bring, leaving little choice but to bring me wine).

Well this year my whole family knows I am sober, so I got some nice chocolate instead. So instead if grabbing the bottle and heading straight to my bedroom to drink in Ernest (no more if that polite sipping I do in front of company), I grabbed my tea and 3 chocolates to enjoy.

Loving my 8 months sobriety and really loving this raspberry caramel! Merry Christmas friends!

That's great!! aren't things so much easier when family/friends are supportive?

I didn't get one bottle of Whisky this year!! . . . I was a bit of an Irish Whisky fanatic . . . ahem alcoholic!!

But it makes so much difference!!

I have been sober just over a year and love chocolates, and pints of ben and jerrys ice cream!!!
