Good Morning and a Merry Christmas to you all.
It's interesting how different the holidays become through the lens of sobriety. I actually enjoy what we do, meeting people who are likely to know of an event where other people in recovery are celebrating the festive occasion without the drama, drugs or drink....

Your right, I can't remember many previous christmas days!!
Either I was nursing a day long hangover from the night before on Xmas Eve or reaching for a cure in the form of another bottle, the day spent trying to survive a splitting headache, only to black out back into bed that night!!
I am lost as to where I "thought" the enjoyment was in all of that!!

I had a lot of sober ones, this one included, but this one I am spending alone because of the damage I inflicted in the days prior while on a binge. Today, I feel like I am at the lowest point in my life.
