Plenty of inspiring stuff to be found here.
We all went through all kinds of stuff, some of it really bad.
Christmas/New Year is an excellent time to make a start.

Welcome 45nicknick! You came to the right place. Lots of support and encouragement here.

Just flip through the "Newcomers to Recovery" forum. You'll find lots of lots of people that are experiencing the same thing you are. The first time I came here I read, and read, and read, for hours. It was comforting to find I wasn't alone, and that others are going through the same things I am going through.
