coping with situations
What are some good ways to cope with addiction? You know you want to buy that drink, it'll make all of your withdrawal symptoms go away, and all that.
How do you decide not to drink? Even past the detox part, how do you not turn into the liquor store parking lot?
I'm running into this constantly and it's very difficult.

There are some great tips here Justin:

Having a support crew to turn to helps too.
Sometimes tho I think we just have to make what we know is the right choice and stay sober, no matter how hard it is to do that sometimes.
It will get easier, in time

As Dee wrote, I would do Carol's tips; Aa's whats worked for me for last 18mths. Cravings linger for while but when you change playground, playmates and playthings then you'll begin seeing some wonderful changes
