BF leaving for rehab tomorrow.
We exchanged gifts last night and he made me a beautiful card. When I read it he said, "is that better?" and laughed. Yesterday was everything I had hoped last Saturday (the anniversary disaster) would be. A day full of love, laughter and joy.
It's been such a rough road but it's great to see him feeling hopeful and stronger. Whether we're together or not I am really pulling for him. He deserves to have a good life. So do I.
I'm looking forward to my time off and spending time alone, doing the things I love, and enjoying friends and family.
I am so grateful for my friends, including my online friends.
I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with peace and happiness. Thank you so much for your support. It's been invaluable to me. I have learned and grown a lot since I joined SR. I appreciate it more than you'll ever know.
