What a year!
I passed my Nursing class with "B"....I'll take it! Between the breakup from my A, my dad going into a nursing home, my kid going to Rehab, my mom having a stroke and my Furbaby getting killed, all I can say is......THANK YOU GOD! He was the only not that got me through it!! The subject matter was psych, substance abuse, and the liver. I'm actually quite please that substance abuse was a major part of it. I spent plenty of time with my hand in the air giving my imput and I'm sure the professor was like "hmmm, she sure knows an awful lot about this subject matter" Seeing what alcohol does to our body's first has as a nursing student was really disturbing. There is such a stigma with addiction and mental health. People just don't talk about it. This website is something special. Thank you all for helping me get through some dark days!
