I had this dream last night - actually it was part of a dream where i was organizing my grade school holiday fair and Billie Joe from Greenday told me he wanted to dress in a santa suit - but the part that matters here is that I went into a bar and ordered a glass of wine, but then remembered I am an alcoholic. I almost took the glass and drank it, but remember telling myself- this is real, you cant drink. you are an alcoholic. Then I woke up.

My own totally non-scientific theory - I did a lot of drinking...sometimes a little memory bubble breaks the surface of my subconscious and gets interpreted in wild and whacky ways

I never attached any real meaning to them

Any, I am well over a year sober and I still get those dreams sometimes. I don't think you should necessarily assign any meaning to it, other than to be glad they are just dreams

Side note: I have been a vegetarian for over six years and I still get similar dreams about eating meat, too.

Congrats on 34 days sober! The drinking dreams will become less common as you get more sober time. It's normal.
