New here

Hi all - stopped drinking for a variety of reasons on sep 21st 2013. Never thought I'd be sober this long. I hope to never drink again but got to take it day by day. Alcohol never did anything good for me and I have to remember that. If you are thinking about quitting or are just starting out, it does get better. Some days are diamonds, some are coals but either way I am much happier and so grateful. These forums and blogs are my support and inspiration. Glad to be here with you. Tiptree

Chocolate pudding is my nightcap now. Crave sugar like never before. But at least I can stop after one dessert!

Isn't it funny how we crazy sugar after quitting. I never ever ate anything sweet or sugary. I now get through a big bag of wine gums in a couple days!
