Fifth night sober

This ties the record for my sobriety. I have again successfully made it home without a bottle of booze. I'm proud of myself but realize this is just the beginning.

My entire body hurts from working out so hard, but I almost appreciate it because its not something that booze caused. (bruises from falling down drunk, ulcers, chest pains while being hung over) It makes me feel alive, and is a sobering (pun intended) reminder of the damage alcohol has done to my endurance and fitness level.

Looking ahead, I want this to be the action that raises my GABA and releases dopamine into my bloodstream making me feel euphoric.

Better that than a bottle full of fermented sh!t right?

Five nights! Tomorrow you'll wake up to another morning with no hangover. IMHO there's nothing better. Congratulations to you and keep at it!

Nice work Justin, keep up the good work. Put it in the rear view mirror...each day that passes it gets smaller and smaller. Good luck...
