So worried!
My husband and I got a call early this morning that our daughter was in the hospital! Because she is in her thirties we had trouble getting info until this morning. We were told by the nurse that her blood alcohol level was very high and that she told them she was very depressed. They are doing a psych consult to rule out suicide! I cannot even express how worried we are!!!! Please keep our daughter and us in your prayers! Lind
prayers just sent out from California
hopefully she will be seeking help after this event
and
loving and supporting parents will be a blessing for her
don't be afraid to attend an AA or NA meeting with her
I see many show up in the rooms with supporting family and friends
if she connects in meetings she may go back on her own ??
many local churches offer alcohol and drug addiction support
long term free programs are also available (Salvation Army)

You know, I have a daughter a similar age and we (you and I) were raised a little differently - it's the 'new generation' they were born into. Just be there for her as I know you will be - my daughter (Zoe) I worry as she hasn't worked it out yet and well, if I say more it's like i'm dissing her fiancé.

Thankyou for all your prayers! My daughter is home and my husband is on his way to see her! Still a big concern on her drinking and emotional status! But so thankful she is safe! Love my SR friends!! Lind
