I never thought, when I found these boards, that I would do anything but read.
When I started to ask for help, I did not think I would have any to give (and was probably to sick to give it anyway)
However, reading others issues, situations, delimas, etc. I have come to see how MUCH we have in common as human beings.
That I have made a lot of terrible choices and have found my way out of them
That just being here has re-jumpstarted by brain cells and I can actually FEEL my old Al-Anon lessons coming back to life.
I have a lot of "me too--meeeee toooo" reactions and a lot of advice, which I think is probably odd, maybe offputting, coming from a new comer.
So thank you for letting me try to help
and thank you for helping me remember who I am and how far I have come and how far I have to go.
