I've always preferred to be sober for sex, always felt booze dulled sensation and didn't allow my body to work as well. My body seems even more responsive after over a month sober.

It's more frequent at my house since I stopped drinking--when I was drinking, I would not drink on nights I knew sex was likely because I never liked drunk sex. Now that I'm sober all the time, that area of my life has definitely seen more action, pardon the pun. ;-)

My mate unwittingly (or maybe knowingly) gives me some of the best motivation to stay sober by reminding me fairly regularly how much better sex is for her when I am sober. For those of you out there who are in a relationship and contemplating sobriety, add this to the list of reasons to give it a try....

Yeah, it sucks for me too, I've been single exactly the number of days I've been sober, no coincidence there.
