Hi Bonnie - sorry you're struggling but it's good to see you

for me I had to do two things - find support and make changes to my life.
I stuck to SR pretty much all I could the first few days.

what kinds of things make you drink again?
Can you think of more stuff you can do to help you stay sober?

D

Hi Bonnie!

What have you been doing for your recovery? Maybe try something different or additional?

You could post here at SoberRecovery more often!

Hey Bonnie.

The first basic thing I found on Day 1, is to get all alcohol out of the house, and on the way home from work not go and buy any, if I got that right, I then needed support to get through the cravings, through talking to people on the phone or online, there is no point sitting around doing nothing in the evenings, the time used for drinking needs to be filled by something else!

I distracted myself all I could. I took my dogs for long walks to get our of the house and our of my head. It helped all of us and the dogs really loved me for it.

There are lots of good suggestions here.

Get rid of the alcohol in the house and make changes in your daily routine that help to promote good health. You can do this.
