Feeling stronger
Feeling stronger
I am 17 days sober. I went to a meeting tonight and then out to eat and to a movie with people. Every day I am getting stronger. One thing I am learning to do is just be in the moment and relax about the future. Happy to be sober.

Stop, Ach! You're making me jealous
I want to go to a meeting and hang out with my friends after, but I'm still not strong enough to walk there myself. Hopefully by the end of the week. But I did have a friend stop by this afternoon and we had a great talk. Not really about recovery but about life and relationships and stuff. That's the cool thing about making AA friends. Not everything has to be about recovery.
Keep building those relationships and working your program. The loneliness and isolation will fade every single day. I'm sure you're noticing it already.

I am absolutely loving your posts these days
Hi Ach;
You are doing so well! Congratulations on your 17 days, and also for getting out and connecting with people socially. Semester is almost over too, so things seem to be looking up, aren't they? And you made it happen
