Smile 4 years dry

hi just to introduce myself my name is Melody and I am an alcoholic, I have been sober for nearly 4 years, this Christmas. I am happy to be sober and doing well and I am happy to have found this site.

Smile positive reinforcement

yes sobriety stopped people from being able to say it was the drink at fault I began to own my actions and re-empower myself through my own need to be someone to me and my kids. I do not regret the drinking for I saw a side of me that was within me I saw who I did not want to be anymore. The person I have become is a good person a person my mirror image smiles at on a daily basis and that is a very good thing. I am stronger now than ever in my life I can see what I never could when I was drinking. Funny thing is I am no better off financially lol...but I am spiritually and that's a greater wealth than I have ever known in my entire life.
