Hi all,

I had a really great appointment with my therapist today and even though I know how hard it is for me to let go, today I've made steps to actually do it. I've collected absolutely everything from the apartment I shared with my xapartner, I've deleted him from my phone, facebook, erased old texts, everything. I need for our past and his addiction to be part of my history and not part of my current life: kick my addiction to him, and focusing on our shared experience on here is keeping me rooted in the past.

To do that, one of the steps I have to do is step away. I may be back one day, I may not. But I want each of you who shared your experiences, advise, support or even just letting me vent has been like a balm to my broken heart. Thank you for everything, and I wish you all so much love, peace and happiness. God knows we all deserve it.
