What do I do now....?
You're not alone, I've been there done that. It was very hard for me to take that first step but you've already done that...asking for help. Are you a closet drinker? Or do your friends and family know you have a problem?

I kept telling myself I could control it. I wanted to be able to, but I realize now how wrong I was. I tell myself only one or two - This created a problem for me because most of the time that was true. The times I don't. - I don't stop.
I can definitely relate. I used to think I had everything under control and nobody knew about my secret nightly drinking. By the time I quit, everyone knew but only a few had the courage to confront me about it. I'm glad they did as it was the push I needed to take a long, hard look at myself.
Take it day-by-day and let some sober time collect up. With each day it starts to get easier as you learn new ways to pass the time and enjoy yourself. Stay close to this great site and seek out support groups like AA, read up on ways to control your addictive voice and seek out counseling if needed. Again, just know this is a day-by-day struggle that does get better with time. You are among friends who understand here!
