Applied for a job

Nervous. Scared to work, but sick of my husband being mad at me for not working. Three weeks sober and ready to try. It's at a vet, so I'd be good at it. Need prayers. Will be torture waiting for them to call!

Good luck! I bet this job at the vet comes through, but if it doesn't - there's more out there. Just keep going!

For me, once I got my footing in sobriety (a 30 day stint in rehab), it was good for me to get back to work. It gave me something to do all day and was a good distraction from the voice in my head. It helped with my natural tendency to isolate. It also gave me purpose.

I'm currently out of work due to surgery and I'm going stir-crazy! I'm not isolating because my friends are visiting me and I'm on the phone as much as possible, but I can't wait to get back to work.

I hope work benefits you as well. Hope you get the job!

I was applying for jobs too until I got this virus (Bell's Palsy). Have decided to relax for a couple of weeks and try to shake it off.

I called to check on it and the doc wasn't in so they said they'd call me back. Not too hopeful for a call today but I guess you never know. This is driving me crazy. I can't think of anything else.

I didn't get the job. Bummed and worried about my husband being mad, as he's really pushing me to work. But I tried. I guess I just have to try again.

Sorry you didn't get the job, but it's not easy to find work right now. Too many people looking and too few jobs out there. Your husband can just get glad in the same pants he got mad in.
