Good Native

just now working on getting back into my Recovery. I have had a couple of abstinent periods. A good time with these periods too. looking, always, for that feeling of well-being and serenity. it just doesn't happen when I am in the bottle. although at the time it seems so. could be on the verge of loosing my job, also. I really want that better life for myself and my three children. I did have it good in the last couple of years, but let it go for a stupid decision. I surely let myself down. It is time to get back to my recovery and become the better person that I had been. I am sure you can relate to this. Ha... Hope to hear from any of you`s

Welcome, CW!

There's lots that can be done to stay sober. Using this website is a big part of my program, and I hope you post often here.

What does working on getting back into recovery mean? So, you're still drinking?

Hmm, I almost deleted my signature the other night but just changed the color instead. A former mayor of Seattle had this carved on his mantle in his home here. He was an abolitionist--can you imagine living in an era when alcohol was illegal, and still feeling a need to seek refuge from the alcohol culture?

Booze is everywhere. Is there any in your home now?
