drove to the liquor store...

But by the grace of God I did NOT go in. Talked it through my sponsor with lots of tears, but I made it! Exhausted like crazy now, so good night SR.

Awesome job! Be watchful of your AV. I bought a bottle of Vodka and dumped it down the drain the weekend before I slipped and drank for two days. It's a nasty thing that AV.

Well done, you did the right thing in calling your sponsor too! I guess we all need to get emergency "help" in place for these crisis moments, you should be very proud of yourself, thats another battle won! X

It's scary to come so close to relapsing, but in the future you can draw strength from the fact that even though you came close, you ultimately did the right thing. I admire you having that kind of strength even after having gotten in the car and driven to the store.
